Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Permanent Resident of Assam
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as of January 1, 2023
- Age Relaxation: Varies by category, up to 10 years for Persons with Disability (PwD)
Small Family Norms:
Candidates adhering to the government policy on Small Family Norms are eligible.
Medium of Instruction:
Candidates must match the medium of instruction (Language-I or Language-II) with ATET/CTET.
Educational Qualifications:
- Assistant Teacher (LP): Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Assistant Teacher (UP): Graduate with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, B.Ed., or D.Ed. (Special Education).
- Science Teacher (UP): B.Sc. with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, B.Ed., or D.Ed. (Special Education).
- Hindi Teacher (UP): Graduate with Hindi as a subject and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, B.Ed., or D.Ed. (Special Education).
